Conveniently  located halfway between Niagara Falls and Toronto with easy access from anywhere in the G.T.A.,  Burlington has a huge variety of things to do! Lots of activities, events and gorgeous natural surroundings to keep you coming back no matter the season!! A vibrant, friendly downtown core with tons of great patios, restaurants & shops is located within walking distance of the beach too!

Visit Burlington Beach- A gorgeous 1 km stretch of white sand that stretches from Spencer Smith Park to the canal and lift bridge. Shallow sand entry is great for swimming with lots of trees and park space for picnics and BBQ’s. Facilities include showers, changerooms, bathroom and concession.

Great views from your paddle boat and stand up board are everywhere when you paddle out into our beautiful Burlington waterfront. Mingle with swans and ducks as you make your way along the finest sand beach shoreline on Lake Ontario. Nature and bird lovers will have lots to look out for with over 150 types of birds that flock to the area. Mature native trees line the shores and several rare and endangered plant species grow in the protected sand dunes. Some days you can smell the wild roses on the breeze as you go by!   to chillax on our beach or head out into the water. Free Parking. No lifeguards on duty.

Waterfront Trail: This scenic and wide, multi use trail is part of the 1400 km trail that connects many communities along the great lakes! Fantastic for just about anything including walking, biking, rollerblading and running.

Royal Botanical Gardens: There is always lots going on in these beautiful gardens. 2450 acres of nature sanctuaries containing environmentally sensitive habitats, where approx. 50 listed species- at-risk have made their home. Lots of trails, special events and beauty to take in. You could spend days enjoying it all!

Halton Parks: Burlington contains and is bordered by a large number of gorgeous outdoor spaces to enjoy. From friendly neighborhood parks to the many conservation areas. Each has its own character and reason to visit!
