Join us on the beautiful beach for a wonderful night as we celebrate the Summer Solstice! In the northern hemisphere, June 21 officially rings in the beginning of summer. Derived from two Latin words, sol (sun) and sistere (to stand still), the word solstice actually means “sun standing still.” A solstice occurs twice each year, when the movement of the sun’s path (as seen from Earth) comes to a stop before it reverses direction.
Our yoga instructors will guide you through a 45 minute class of gentle Hatha followed by a 20 minute meditation to the sounds of gentle lapping water and drum beats as we honour the Sun . The beach will be lit and we will observe the sunset and moon rise over the water. After the classes are finished you are invited to sit and socialise while taking in the fabulous scenery.
Our events are weather permitting and will go on in light rain or shine. Please check in for status of events the day of. Each date has a pre set RAIN DATE, please see below.
